This keyless entry system is the perfect fit for your Mercedes Benz
SLK-Class R170*** 1997-2005. It allows you to lock and unlock the doors and trunk with a push of a button using the new FOB remotes*. A parking light flash provides a visual confirmation. It also has two outputs for other accessories such as window module or trunk release module, or can be used for factory alarm activation.
One good reason to install this system into your Benz is that it will take the load off of the lock cylinder links, which are known to break often.
This complete keyless entry system has everything you need for installation. You will get an installation manual complete with a wiring chart for the do-it-yourself installer, as well as a professional installer’s guide. Installation overview

Locate the factory vacuum pump - usually located under the rear seat, in the front passenger's side footwell, or inside the trunk.
- Connect the White wire to the Lock wire using the supplied connector.
- Connect the White/Black wire to the Unlock wire using the supplied connector.
- Connect the Black wire to a Ground.
- Connect the Red wire to a +12V constant (usually Red/Blue wire) using the supplied connector.

- Connect the 2 Brown wires to the left and right parking light wires (usually Grey/White and Grey) using the supplied connectors.
- Connect the Green to the factory alarm (arm) wire, and the Pink to the factory alarm (disarm) wire, or connect the Red/Black wire to the trunk release wire if available.
